Cast on in February and it is finally done, in July. In my defense I put it down when it was half finished, also in February, and didn’t pick it up again until last week. I do like the pattern it is easy enough without being mind numbing, and the results are pretty. pattern: Branching Out lace, that is. I finished a project that qualifies for the Amazing Lace, ’bout time. Oh, and I completed the Pit Stop. pattern: Lacy Mock Cable – July Monthly Dishcloth KAL I also finished knitting up Branching Out today, not much to look at right now, I’ll [...] The new MagKnits and Knitty are out, and, for once, I really like patterns in both of them. With MagKnits this usually isn’t an issue, I can appreciate most of the patterns even if I won’t be knitting them up. Knitty is sometimes another story. There are issues where I just go “WTF!” and move on, [...] Random musings mostly on knitting: I was able to spend the morning with my daughter at the clinic. She has had a cough for almost 2 weeks, so after a blood test and chest x-rays (both were fine) we were sent home with two prescriptions and instructions to return if she wasn’t better in a week or [...] |
