mississippi is a hard word to spell

A few days ago Bug and I were doing the homeschool thing.  The lesson was talking about the westward movement of the pioneers.  She was reading a passage out loud to me and mispronounced Mississippi.  For close to five minutes we giggled over the “Mippissippi Riber.”  Priceless.
