flew the coop

The chicks were moved out to the coop last night. Gimpy is not amused, but dealing with it as well as can be expected. The girls are fully feathered, the weather has been mild/warm and we just got tired of moving the chicks back and forth between the garage brooder and the chickie playpen in the yard.
They sure don’t look like chicks anymore!

Amazing how fast they grow, isn’t it? Next thing you know they will be laying eggs.
Oh what sweet babies! You must be very proud. When will you be getting eggs from them? If you get enough layers you could sell at the farmer’s markets. I’d totally buy from you. :)
