we survived

The storm came and went and we survived. The wind howled, the trees bowed, and the power flickered, but no full blown outages. My parents lost power in the city, but here in the ‘burbs we were fine. Hubby’s mom had a tree fall on her house, up on the island, but all things considered, the damage was minor and she is fine.
Glad you’re all OK! My dad freaked out, thinking Portland (and me, naturally!) had been blown off to sea or something equally dramatic :-P.
We did ok. Lost power for a couple days but managed fine. I did come close to meltdown but shhhhh..don’t tell anyone.
Certainly missed knitting on Saturday and my grocery store is still out! At least the drugstore had a back up generator. I’d hate to run outa my hormones :P
