is it yarn yet?

I took a drop spindle class at VY&T, today.  It was a lot of fun, especially because Elaine and Leslie were in the class, it’s always nice to take classes with friends.

Kim is a great teacher and she got us all spinning and offered may word of encouragement and praise.  Elaine spun a beautiful small skein of very even lace weight yarn, I wish I had brought my camera, it was that beautiful.  Mine not so even, not so lace weight.  Practice, practice, practice.

first snow

Today is the first snow day of the season.  We don’t usually get many snowy days here so it is imortant to take advantage of the ones we do get.
