Bubba’s first day of school.
Bubba has finally started pre-school. After all the testing and evaluations I was beginning to think this day would never come. Bubba was excited, I know the picture doesn’t look like it but he was, he was just upset that I wanted to take a nice picture when he wanted to be a scarecrow, just smile kid so I can take the photo. We arrived a little early and waited for the other kids to arrive so they could all walk into class together. The kids were just as excited to meet him and he was to meet them. The teacher and assistants escorted the kids into the room and with a cheerful “bye mom” he was off. I was a little teary, ok, more than a little.
I came back two and a half hours later to pick him up and was greeted with “Wow, you have quite an active one there.†Yes, this is what I have been trying to telling people. He seem to have a good time and is excited about going back tomorrow.
