It looks like we have a pair of bald eagles nesting in a tree in our neighbor’s yard, across the street. Hubby and I were chatting before the kids woke up last friday, when he suddenly lept to the window, “There’s a bald eagle in L’s yard!” I looked out and sure enough there he was eating a possum, then his mate flew in to share in the feast. I was able to get a picture, but it’s not very good as it was overcast so the light was quite low and a flash would have been useless at that distance.
Hubby is pretty sure the pair is nesting in one of the trees in the neighbor’s yard, he saw them flying in and out of the tree all day. I’ll have to keep an eye out.
That’s very cool! If they are, you’ll have lots of opportunities for pictures.
That is so cool. I saw one flying circles over 405 on my way into work last week. What amazing birds!
