March was not a good sewing month, I only finished one project and that was the last few days of the month.ÂÂ
I made this quilt as a baby gift for a friend’s granddaughter. The pattern is “Ethan’s Star” from the Mar/Apr ‘04 issue of Quiltmaker. The top went together quite quickly as it is one big block. I was able to cut out and assemble the top in one evening and then quilt it and bind in in another. This is the first time I have machine quilted and bound a quilt, I usually tie them. The machine quilting was very simple, just a diagonal lattice pattern.
